UFC Live 5 fighter earns two bonuses

That's right, Chris Lytle gets to retire with $130,000 in a double fight bonus win!! thats a hearty paycheck on top of his $70,000 paycheck for merely fighting. THATS $200,000 AND the dignity and respect of retiring after a very successful career on a high note with a definitive submission win over Dan Hardy.

With Lytle's guillotine victory over Hardy, he earned both the submission of the night AND fight of the night! Hardy got a pretty good bonus of $65,000 for gettin whooped xD

Thats a pretty good bonus to retire on and focus on your family if you ask me x) Chris Lytle earned and deserved every single bit of it and he will always be one of the most respected fighters to ever enter the octagon.

FOX now airing UFC events

UFC recently agreed to a deal with FOX, a deal that states FOX will air up to 4 events per year on broadcast TV. The deal is now set for 7-8 years and the negotiating got up to at least $90 million. This is a MAJOR step for UFC and is the first time it will consistently air on a mainstream broadcast network :D

Kimbo Slice wins first Pro Boxing match with a bang!

OHHHH man kimbo needs to stick with boxing, he cant handle takedowns kicks or submissions, but he knows how to handle the stand up! sure he KO'd a novice boxer, but id like to see what else he can do, becuase that was a definitive statement! Congrats Kimbo!!

UFC Live 5 FREE tonight on Versus!

The fight card includes Miller vs. Henderson, Oliveira vs Cerrone, Amir Sadollah vs. Dwayne "Bang" Ludwig, and the main even of the night: Dan Hardy vs. Chris Lytle. I dont have too much knowledge of the backgrounds of miller, henderson, oliveira, or cerrone, but im expecting amazing fights from these up and comers in order for them to imprint their name in the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

Hardy vs Lytle
I think this is going to be a war between these two guys, i dont see either one being able to finish it, but it will be a nonstop battle. I believe Lytle is going to be able to utilize his experience and be able to tough out a decision win over Hardy and go out on a high note and retire on a win. (yes, Lytle confirmed he will be retiring after tonight's fight.)

Sadollah vs Ludwig
The other fight i think is going to be a war that everyone must see is Ultimate fighter winners vs. seasoned veteran, Amir Sadollah vs Dwayne Ludwig. Just because im pretty biased for Sadollah, i think hes going to go home with the W, but ludwig is an extremely explosive fighter and definitely has the potential to end it with a single punch, im looking forward to an amazing card x) and you cant beat the price of free ;D dont miss it guys!!
